We are on a mission to reimagine the future of food in order to sustainably and satisfyingly feed the world’s next billion. In 2019, we set out to make plant-based seafood. After 2 years of R&D, we’ve created something better: seafood that just happens to be made from plants. Forget the “plant-based” qualifier. This is seafood that goes toe-to-toe with the traditional stuff — from taste, texture, and nutritional density — and just so happens to be made from a medley of vegetables. Current Foods sushi-grade tuna and smoked salmon lox are now available across the US and Europe.
