Champignon North America is the exclusive importer of Kaserei Champignon specialty cheeses to the U.S. Käserei Champignon is a 100 year old producer of specialty cheeses from Bavaria, Germany. Cheese production is based on traditional recipes and methods of cheese making and performed in highly modern plants, certified in compliance with strict food safety standards, including U.S. Food Safety Modernization Act. Käserei Champignon is regionally focused, sourcing milk only from farms in Bavaria, where cows graze on alpine grasses and have room to roam. Our dairy farmers are our partners, built on a relationship of trust and transparency; some have been suppliers for generations. Our master cheesemakers use only pure ingredients –no artificial ingredients, stabilizers, or preservatives. Käserei Champignon has been recognized yearly in international cheese contests for its award-winning cheeses.
