Title: The Next Generation of Chefs: Conversation, Cooking, and Call to Action

With culinary talent leaving the industry at an unprecedented rate, it’s our responsibility, now more than ever, to inspire and cultivate the next generation of chefs and future foodservice leaders. Hospitality leaders must reshape kitchen culture, offer mentorship and professional development opportunities, and provide pathways so that young and emerging culinarians can succeed and grow in our industry. Join us for a part culinary demo part panel discussion centered around how operators can best attract, train, and energize cooks. Our panel of esteemed chefs and culinary leaders will share actionable strategies to motivate and incentivize the next generation of chefs, discuss how to help new hires thrive at your establishment, and examine which fundamental hard and soft skills are most valuable to employers. We’ll also hear from rising chefs about their visions for the industry and their careers as they prepare signature dishes on our demo stage. Be part of the conversation as we explore how to strengthen the industry for the long-term and celebrate up-and-coming chefs and future foodservice leaders.
