Title: ServSuccess Restaurant Leader Workshop


Running a restaurant takes an extraordinary commitment. For over 100 years the National Restaurant Association has been committed to helping restaurants flourish in any environment. The most recent product ServSuccess, creates completely new energy about the restaurant profession. It includes an online collection of learning suites, courses, and exams designed to enhance and certify the competencies and knowledge of working industry professionals.

Leaders can assess and grow their skills, validate their expertise, and expand their abilities to enhance business performance. At the 2022 National Restaurant Show we would like to introduce you to ServSuccess, via a new to industry workshop.

Participant Level: Ideal participants are mid-level managers and above who want to build skills to enhance business performance.

Session 1: Building Leadership Skills

12:30 – 2:30 pm

No one day is the same in this industry. Keeping staff onboard and running effective shifts starts with a strong understanding of business fundamentals and exceptional communication skills. In this session, learn tactics to keep your staff motivated and engaged and the business on track.

Session 2: Managing Costs

2:30 – 4:30 pm

No matter what type of restaurant operation, in order to be an effective leader, you must fully understand food and labor costs. In this session, our experts break down the components of each, how it relates to profitability, and provide best practices for keeping costs in line.
