Jon Farrer

As president and COO, Jon is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the successful execution of Ballyhoo Hospitality's strategic goals, from concept development to profitability. With over 20 years in the industry, he has led restaurant groups from LA to Chicago. Jon was part of the visionary team that brought the Ballyhoo brand to life in 2016 and brings a particular focus on establishing key partnerships that serve as the foundation for current and future growth. Jon has known founders Ryan and Anna O'Donnell for over a decade and worked with them early on at Ballyhoo's founding concept, Gemini Lincoln Park. Over the years, he has played an instrumental part in developing and implementing innovative strategies that have improved operational efficiency. In March of 2024, Ballyhoo opened its tenth restaurant, with two more coming soon. Under Jon's watch, the hospitality group plans to expand to other Chicagoland communities.

A resident of Chicago, when Jon's not at work, he can be found on the sidelines of soccer practice and spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
