Tom is a Managing Partner & Principal at the New England Consulting Group and a leader in the firm’s Restaurant, Food Service and Hospitality practice. Tom is also active in the Consumer, Financial Services, Telecom & Technology and Automotive practices. A recognized expert in global brand development, marketing, advertising, innovation, and growth strategy, Tom has provided strategic marketing counsel to some of the world’s most admired companies and most successful brands. In Restaurants and Food Service, Tom has led marketing, advertising, and innovation teams in support of Bloomin’ Brands (Outback, Carrabba’s, Bonefish Grill), Dine Brands (Applebee’s, IHOP), Yum! (Pizza Hut, KFC), Dave & Buster’s, and Bob Evans. And in Hospitality: Hilton, Leading Hotels of the World, and Hotels.com. Prior to joining the New England Consulting Group, Tom was a Partner in growth strategy at PA Consulting, and a Managing Director at Accenture where he led a 400-person team in digital marketing services.

Before his transition to management consulting, Tom had a successful 25+ year career of leadership in the world’s largest advertising and marketing services firms, IPG, Omnicom and WPP. He was Global Client Leader at Omnicom’s BBDO where he led a multinational client portfolio across 100+ markets and was President and CEO of WPP’s Young & Rubicam in North America.

Adding to his notable career, Tom also led a Private Equity roll-up in healthcare services, as President of inVentiv Health, the world’s second largest healthcare marketing services group, where he created shared capabilities across a portfolio of nine separate operating companies to drive superior delivery, efficiency, and synergies.

Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and American Literature with a minor in Economics from Brown University and is a graduate of Omnicom University’s Senior Management Post-Graduate Programs.
