Emma Blecker

Emma Blecker is a Restaurant Executive from Brooklyn, NY. Her career in NYC restaurants began at the age of 15. In 2009, she moved to the UK to attend the University of London. After graduating, she worked with renowned chefs and restaurateurs like Richard & Oliver Gladwin, Michelin-starred Chef Adam Byatt, and James Beard Award-Winner Gabrielle Hamilton.

In 2018, Emma joined Boqueria as Chief of Staff, where she quickly established herself as a leader in optimizing business operations. She was later promoted to Director of Business Systems, overseeing data analytics, process scaling, and the integration of restaurant technology across the company’s growing footprint. Building on this experience, In 2025 Emma became Director of Process & Associate Consultant at Figure 8, a boutique NYC-based consultancy specializing in Hospitality Tech and Digital Transformation. Her work centers on using technology and data to simplify operations, solve complex challenges, and empower hospitality businesses to thrive.

Recognized as a thought leader, Emma has shared insights at the National Restaurant Show (2023, 2024), FAB Conference (2024), and New York State Hospitality Leadership Symposium (2023). Most recently, she spoke on Data Analytics in the Restaurant Space at NYSRA’s NextGen Hospitality Innovation conference (Nov '24) and at the James Beard Financial Literacy Workshop for Women (Jan '25). Emma has also been featured on podcasts like ‘Order Up’ and ‘Restaurant Strategy’ and interviewed for publications including Nation's Restaurant News, Expedite, Hospitality Tech, and FSR Magazine.

In early 2023, Emma proudly joined the Board of the New York State Restaurant Association as Vice Chair of the NYC Chapter, and in Fall 2024, Emma was named one of FSR’s 40 under 40 Rising Stars in the Hospitality Industry. 

Outside of work, Emma is a passionate cook, writer, hiker, blacksmith, and animal enthusiast. She and her husband enjoy weekends with their animals at their upstate sanctuary, including their hound dogs, Oberon and Titus, and pet pig, Puck.
