Short Bio 2024
Emma Blecker is a Restaurant Executive from Brooklyn, NY. Her career in NYC restaurants began at the age of 15. In 2009, she moved to the UK to attend the University of London. After graduating, she worked with renowned chefs and restaurateurs like Richard & Oliver Gladwin, Michelin-starred Chef Adam Byatt, and James Beard Award-Winner Gabrielle Hamilton.
In 2018, she joined Boqueria as Chief of Staff, later progressing to Director of Business Systems. Her expertise includes Data Analytics, Process Scaling, and Restaurant Technology.
Recognized as a thought leader, Emma has shared insights at the National Restaurant Show (2023, 2024), FAB Conference (2024), and New York State Hospitality Leadership Symposium (2023). She has also been featured on podcasts like ‘Order Up’ and ‘Restaurant Strategy’ and interviewed for publications including Nation's Restaurant News, Expedite, Hospitality Tech, and FSR Magazine.
In early 2023, she proudly joined the Board of the New York State Restaurant Association as Vice Chair of the NYC Chapter.
As of Summer 2024, Emma was named one of FSR’s 40 under 40 Rising Stars in the Hospitality Industry and has spoken at the NextGen Hospitality Innovation conference in NYC on the topic of Data Analysis in the full-service Restaurant Space.
Outside of work, Emma is a passionate cook, writer, hiker, blacksmith, and animal enthusiast. She and her husband enjoy weekends with their animals at their upstate sanctuary, including their hound dog, Oberon, and pet pig, Puck.
