Nick Johnson

Nick Johnson serves as Senior Vice President of Full Service & Lifestyle Hotels for First Hospitality, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of properties across Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, IHG, and independent brands, in addition to the company’s Restaurants & Bars Division. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience, he leads a team of Vice Presidents and plays an integral role in hotel openings, brand transitions, and management takeovers. Nick also partners closely with the company’s Business Development team, representing First Hospitality in strategic growth initiatives and development opportunities.

Prior to his current role, Nick served as Vice President of Operations, where he oversaw a diverse group of large and small hotels across full service, select service, independent, and lifestyle segments. He began his career with Marcus Hotels & Resorts at the Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, where he progressed through multiple leadership roles, culminating as Guest Service Director. Before joining First Hospitality, he served as General Manager of both the Lodge at Geneva National in Lake Geneva and Ironworks Hotel in Beloit, Wisconsin.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Management from Iowa State University, where he was actively involved in campus life and served as President of the Sigma Chi fraternity chapter.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys golfing, watching college basketball, and spending time with his wife and their three children. As a family, they enjoy traveling, celebrating the holidays, supporting their daughters’ at dance competitions, and son at basketball, football and baseball games.
