Sara Nickel

Sara Nickel is a passionate 20+ year industry veteran with extensive experience in operations management, training, and executive leadership.  She is a workforce and business development expert for the National Restaurant Association where she leads programs and initiatives to drive business and worker performance. Sara has taken a lead role on such projects as the creation of ServSuccess - career development for the industry, ServSafe Ops - the new mobile application to drive operational efficiency, and development of hospitality sector registered apprenticeship program standards for the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. Sara is an active member of the Council for Hotel and Restaurant Trainers and serves on a variety of National initiatives such as the WorkCred National Credentialing Advisory Council, the Credential Engine Retail and Hospitality Sector Initiative and  Welcome.US, the national effort to help get Afghans on their feet.
