Chief Marketing Officer at White Castle

Lynn Blashford, Chief Marketing Officer, is in her 11th year at White Castle. Lynn is responsible for brand building, strategy, advertising, media, promotions, social/digital engagement, shopper, licensing, and innovation for food products line and Castle menu; basically, keeping the Crave alive and prospering for both the restaurant and retail divisions for the family-owned organization. Creating memorable moments is the White Castle mission and our culture’s heart for hospitality allows us to live that every day.

Since joining the White Castle team Lynn has made numerous contributions such as strategic shifts to White Castle’s reach and engagement across generations and leading company efforts to increase internal dept. collaborations and customer data convergence. Lynn also assisted in advancing White Castle’s marketing communication strategy to a more holistic, integrated, approach leveraging shopper journey research that allowed the marketing team to steward and enhance the full customer experience and launch of new Craver Nation loyalty program.

As a graduate of the University of Kentucky, both undergraduate and MBA program, Lynn gained years of experience in the restaurant and retail industries. Before joining White Castle, Lynn contributed to the growth of Donatos Pizza, Long John Silvers, Family Restaurants Inc. (dba El Torito & regional Mexican casual dining concepts), El Pollo Loco and Domino’s Pizza plus advertising agency client rosters.

Lynn has been an advisor to industry colleagues and is frequently sought out to share her learnings. She is an advocate for the Associate of National Advertisers (ANA) member and leverages their full set of tools to build skills within the marketing team. Currently she co-leads White Castle’s Women’s Foodservice Forum (WFF) internal development activities to build future leaders for the company.
